Eelke Pollé
Founder, Lighthouse Works, Reiki Master, Yoga teacher and EFT therapist.
I grew up in a family with a spiritual mother who introduced me to Yoga, Reiki and healthy nutrition, and a father who inspired me to use my intellect and become successful. I became an ambitious career woman, working 70 hours per week — which I greatly enjoyed, actually. Until I finally reached a point where I started asking myself if there wasn’t more to life, and whether I was indeed on the right path. This resulted in several years of study and contemplation, during which I visited various meditation centres, spoke to gurus, meditated and studied. I am no expert: life is a perpetual school. But I did find the necessary tools to teach lessons and find answers. And therein I also found my mission: setting up that place where people can come, settle down, and find ‘tools’ to get back into balance and discover their strength.
Nadine Muller
Hostess & masseuse
After working for more than 10 years in business services, I suddenly decided to start doing what I really enjoyed. But what might that be? The subsequent quest was one that has brought me much personal growth and fulfilment to this day, and has led me to value who I am more than what I have. What remains is the common denominator of “being here now”. As in really Being Here Now. I strive to do everything with awareness. In my experience, people can flourish tremendously when given undivided attention and a truly sympathetic ear. And that is precisely what I do at Lighthouse Works: as a hostess and a masseuse, you have my full attention.
Patricia Sallé
Well-being Coach, Nutrition advisor & Masseuse
I originally come from France and have lived in many places around the planet during my career in the commercial world. A beautiful time during which my natural curiosity and interest in people could fully flourish. But also a time of great stress, in which the balance between mind and body disappeared, resulting in a burnout. This led me to question the importance of my health, my lifestyle and my priorities. How could I bring myself back into balance? How could I take better care of myself and love myself more? I decided to give my life an entirely new direction and followed professional Well-Being Coach, Ayurvedic Nutrition expert and several massage trainings. I now have the most beautiful profession on earth! Through coaching sessions, nutritional advice and massages, I help people help themselves to get back in balance.
Floor van Lissa
Theatre and writing instructor
I have been fascinated by theatre and writing from an early age. I work as theatre and scenario writer and give writing courses at the University of Utrecht. To me, both a blank sheet of paper and the stage of a theatre are safe places from which I can investigate — or recreate — reality. Places where my dreams can always live. I would like to offer you such a place in the theatre and writing workshops. Space to discover or shift your own boundaries. And a place to give your creativity the space it needs and to recreate reality.
Nicolette Heetebrij
Reiki master and expert on highly-sensitive children
Who has never felt like, ‘Help! Where will I get the energy from!?’ in this busy world. As a single mother of 2 young children, a business owner with 7 employees, and with a busy social life, I certainly had those moments quite regularly. That’s how I ended up at one of Lighthouse Works’ weekends and took a Reiki course there… WOW! In 3 days, I fully recharged and also discovered how I could actually keep that battery fully charged. Overwhelmed with that lively feeling, I decided I wanted to share this gift and started on the path to become Reiki master. During this training, the Reiki ‘concept’ integrated itself everywhere in my life. And above all, I discovered therein the tools to better understand my highly-sensitive children (labelled ADHD until then) and to help them use this faculty as a strength. I know put this knowledge and experience into service to help others, both adults and children, discover their strength as well.
Eva Willemijn Visser
Yoga Teacher, nutritional advisor and masseuse
I’ve always been inspired by health, the human body and movement. Thirteen years ago, I first got introduced to yoga during a trip through New Zealand. Since then, yoga has constituted an important part of my lifestyle, bringing me balance, mental quietness and physical well-being. In 2006, I completed my 300 hour yoga teacher training in Thailand. Throughout the years, I’ve followed various yoga, massage and movement therapy workshops and courses with many different and inspiring teachers, such as Max Strom, Martin Kirk, Sarah Powers and Francoise Barbira Freedman. I also have a voice and movement therapy qualification from Patricia Bardi and am in the process of becoming a Ayurvedic nutrition advisor. With much passion, I enjoy inspiring people through yoga, massage and movement, in their development toward a healthier, happier and more relaxed lifestyle.
